We are part of The Barbershop Harmony Society and dedicated to enriching the lives of the men who sing with us, their families, and our community through the gift of music. The Society brings men of all ages together to celebrate singing that spans the years from Barbershop to Beach Boys and beyond.
The Golden Spread Chorus received its charter in 1948 to become the local chapter of The Barbershop harmony Society. Our 2005 and 2006 NW Divisional wins are just som of our 1st place finishes for the chours in Southwetern District competitions.
This past year we have perfomed for audiences all over the panhandle area including Singing Valentines, the National Anthem for the Amerillo Gorillas, Dillas, Dusters, and the Air Force Jazz Ensemble. We have also entertained at area schools, retirement and convalesanet homes, and senior citizen centers.
Delivering the gift of music to our area since June 9, 1948.
